England and Australia have named their squads for the 2026 white-ball series of three ODIs and five T20Is, running from 13 November in Perth to 2 December in Canberra. Harry Brook captains England in both formats, and Mitchell Marsh leads Australia in both.

England recall Jofra Archer and Jacob Bethell and hand first call-ups to Thomas Rew and Eddie Jack. Australia have rested Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood ahead of World Test Championship series against New Zealand and India. The ODIs start at 3.30am UK time and the T20Is at 8.15am, and our tour fixtures guide lists every venue and local start time.

Bethell returns from the knee injury he suffered against India in July, and Archer comes back after England rested him for the Pakistan tri-series. National selector Marcus North said their return leaves England “close to full strength” ahead of next year’s ODI World Cup. Archer, Atkinson, Baker and Tongue fly home after the ODIs to manage their workloads before the Test tour of South Africa.

Rew, 18, is the youngest player in either squad and captained England to February’s Under-19 World Cup final. With Jack, Coles and Crocombe also uncapped, England could hand out four T20I debuts. Phil Salt returns from a quad injury, while Jos Buttler (hamstring surgery) and Saqib Mahmood (knee) miss the tour.

Australia Squads vs England

Australia named two 14-player squads, with only six players selected for both formats.

Head, Renshaw, Green, Carey, Inglis and Connolly play only the ODIs. Nathan Ellis misses the 50-over matches with a side strain from September but rejoins for the T20Is. Selection chair George Bailey backed Beardman to become an all-format player and said Fraser-McGurk and Owen’s ball-striking could be a point of difference. Sam Harper and Lachlan Shaw are uncapped.
